The project involved the expansion and recovery of an ancient rustic stone building, originally used for agricultural purposes, transforming it into a residence on three levels. The house offers a panoramic view of the Borromean Islands and is immersed in the beauty of the surrounding woods.

During the implementation of the project, great attention was paid to maintaining traditional architectural proportions, both for the existing buildings and for the new additions. Typical materials of mountain architecture were used, such as local stone and wood, and recycled materials were used for the construction elements, finishes, terracotta floors, internal windows and doors and even for the furnishings, carefully selected in various antique markets.
